Not Like Any Book You've Tried Before
My kids wouldn't put this one down. I can already see changes indicative of the information in the book getting through to them. Love it.

I wish this book had been available when I was a child! This is the most underrated psychological concept explained in terms that preteens would understand. It is very detailed, gives examples relating to many aspects of life (school, etc.), and is something that everyone should learn about!

My son is a sophomore in high school. He is homeschooled but will be headed to college in a few years. Because in our home we all listen to each other and talk things through, I'm concerned about what he will face when he's in college. When I found this book, I figured it would help. I was right. It's showing him not only how to be on the lookout for relationships and traps that he doesn't want to be a part of, but also how to be a great friend and how to stand your ground and how to be listened to. I'm very happy and he likes it too. I'll have him read again each year.

Two weeks after getting this book, my daughter had a falling out with her best friend. Instead of the usual meltdown, she came to me calmly and talked through it. That's not who she was before this book. Get it.
